On June 26, 2010, Chris Barraclough and Victoria Martin became Man and

Wife. While thrilled at the prospect of marrying such a fantastic, beautiful and

intelligent woman, Chris was also concerned about the whole 'becoming a Man'

thing. This probably means he'll have to do Manly things, such as chasing away

spiders and carrying heavy objects.

The Ceremony

Chris and Victoria swapped vows at St Martin of Tours Church, Chelsfield, at

2pm on Saturday, June 26.

The church is located on the corner of Court Road (A224) and Church Road.

The Reception

Once married, everyone piled down the road to St Julians, a private club in

Knole Park, Sevenoaks. Here we drank, ate, and checked our mobiles at

every available opportunity for the latest footy scores. Luckily England didn't

play 'til the Sunday, and luckily Chris and Victoria were so knackered that they

fell asleep during the match and missed large parts of the national team being

crap.

To reach the venue, turn off the A225 onto St Julien Road and then take a right

onto the rather narrow private drive. Try not to run over any squirrels or deer.

The Hotel

We provisionally booked a small number of rooms at Donnington Manor Hotel for the

Friday and Saturday night.

The hotel is off London Road in Dunton Green, Sevenoaks.

Give us stuff

Thank you to everyone who donated gifts and cold, hard cash!

We have two gift lists set up, so people have plenty of opportunity to buy things for

us. We recommend using both, to show your appreciation of how awesome we are.

Our main gift list is through HolidaysPlease, and allows guests and well-wishers

to donate money towards our honeymoon. Everyone who coughs up can bask in

a warm feeling of generosity, knowing that their cash has funded our holiday to

Malaysia, where we lay around on beaches, sipping fruity cocktails and

swimming in crystal clear seas. This warm generous feeling will help overcome

the biting chill of the British summertime, thus everyone benefits.

Just click here and enter the surname 'Barraclough' and gift list reference number

'1484'. Payments can be made via debit or credit card (although credit cards are

charged a 2% fee, which sucks).

More traditional gift-buyers can get us some stuff from John Lewis instead. Our

gift list reference with them is 397796, and the list is active from May 15. Gifts can

be purchased online or through any department store.
